Temple Emanu-El at 180: The Exhibition

Warren Klein, curator of the Herbert & Eileen Bernard Museum of Judaica at Temple Emanu-El, will guide JGSNY members through the exhibition Emanu-El at 180. As Temple Emanu-El celebrates the 180th anniversary of its founding, the Herbert & Eileen Bernard Museum traces that evolution in a new exhibition of paintings, works on paper, sculpture, and ephemera drawn from its own holdings, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The New York Historical, and private collections. Registration will be required. JGSNY members will receive an email with information on how to RSVP.
Bio:
Warren Klein has been the curator of the Herbert & Eileen Bernard Museum at Temple Emanu-El since 2013. He has curated over a dozen exhibitions ranging in subjects from Jews and chocolate to Barbra Streisand. Warren has contributed to exhibition catalogues and other publications, including Be Fruitful!: The Etrog in Jewish Art, Culture, and History (2022, produced to accompany a previous exhibition that JGSNY members visited at the Herbert and Eileen Bernard Museum.
